Academics
I am currently studying at the University of British Columbia, Majoring in Psychology, and volunteering at the UBC Sexual Health Research Lab.
My current work focuses on the acceptability and feasibility of virtual reality treatment for women with sexual conditions such as vaginismus.
I graduated from Emily Carr University in May 2010 with an honours degree in Film, Video, and Integrated Media.
My work at Emily Carr was primarily focused on an academic exploration of memory which manifested itself in my graduation project: Bernadine.
I received the prestigious John C Kerr Chancellor's Award for outstanding Academic and Artistic Achievement in the field of Media. In the spring of 2010 I was accepted to Parsons the New School (NYC) to continue my academic and artistic work in their Masters of Media Arts program, but deferred enrolment to pursue a career in the tech industry.
